Great jacket!

Don't let the 700 fill fool you. This jacket was more than enough for my trip into the foothills of the Chilean Andes and the Atacama desert region. With a good base layer, the jacket is warm and comfortable. Size wise, it's true to fit. I'm 5'7'', 170lbs with a 40" shoulder. It has a more European tailored fit and not boxy like most jackets. Though more form fitting, there was ample room for a base layer and enough breathing room to let the down do it's magic. The hardware is good though I wish it had more than the 1 pocket on the inside (It's used to pack the jacket). Though it says its water repellent, I didn't get a chance to try this out but then again, you wouldn't want to get most down jackets wet. Very light yet strong. Price I think is a little high but I'm thoroughly happy with it. I look forward to years of use.
