Gear Review
Great all arounder
By ajs2783952 November 8, 2010
Me=6"1' 175lbs. I got these skis last year and spent the season on them in every condition imaginable, and outside of the worst kind of tracked out/wind hammered crud, I have yet to find a weakness for this ski. In about 80 days split between backcountry and resort, I found that it floats perfectly in all but the lightest of cold smoke pow, stomps landings easily, carves trenches the likes of which I have never experienced before, and absolutley slices and dices in steep firm snow or spring conditions. Turn initiation and release on these is like having autopilot. The flex is perfect from tip to tail, and they're even pretty decent in moguls and tight spaces, where they never feel like 192's. I just picked up another pair to stash in the closet, and hopefully soon some Dynafit FT 12's for the ultimate big ski/lightweight touring setup!
