Great Tires
By Keith Green October 17, 2011
Purchased the Race 60 TPI XC 2.1 for the front and was amazed at how well it hooked up in the corners and how great it climbed. In the rear I was running the Ignitor 1.9 and it tracked well but I experienced some sliding down hill and on some climbs. I decided to try another Weirwolf for the rear and have experienced no problems. Climbs and descends are great now. This combination of tire works great for the conditions I ride in here in Southern California.
I have the tubed version in the front and the tubeless in the back, both are race versions and 2.1. Have gone through some light mud and they appear to clear it fairly well. 40 psi works great for me because my ride is on pavement about 1 to 2 miles before hitting the trails. Looking forward to the rainy season to see how they do. Right know they are the perfect set up for me.
