Picked this up on S.A.C. a few weeks ago (ridic $45 price - could not pass up). Haven't had it on the hill yet, but tested it over the weekend in a constant mist/drizzle/light rain combo. The water beaded up all afternoon and the wind gusts had no effect. I was warm enough with a lightweight merino layer underneath in 40-45 degree weather with rain and 25mph gusts. Not sure if the hood fits over a helmet, but it worked great in the rain It cinches well and provides good vision - not too baggy and does not fall in your face. I envision using this as a layer on the hill mid season, alone in the spring, and ANY day around town that it's gray out with the possibility of rain. I'm 6'0" / 180lbs and took the LARGE - nice, close fit with room for a light layer or 2 underneath.
