Good sunglasses - Better customer service
By cheapie April 22, 2010
As far as the glasses themselves go, I'm a fan. I have a big nose and they fit great in spite of that. The lenses are very clear and offer distortion-free viewing. They're fairly fashionable but don't look like I'm trying too hard.
The best part is the customer service. I broke them shortly after buying them. I went onto Costa's site and filled out a repair form, paid the $10 to be able to send them in to have them looked at, and put them in the mail on a Tuesday. I expected to have an email giving me a repair estimate.
I got an email as soon as they received them telling me they got them and would be checking them out. Within a day or so I got another one saying they were fixed and would be sent back. They showed up today at my house a mere 8 days after I put them in the mail...and they didn't charge me anything for a new pair. "Under warranty."
Wow. That's great customer service and I'll be back for my next pair.
