Good shoe. BOA system broke early

After about 10 years and hundreds (thousands?) of miles, the sole of my $50 Specialized shoes finally gave out. I found these for a good price and the difference is amazing. The boa system makes putting on and taking off the shoes really quick and easy, and it's convenient to adjust while riding. After about 3 months of daily use (200-300 cycles on the laces), the plastic coating on the laces wore through and got jammed in the tubes. Boa is very good about replacing parts, which saved this shoe from a 2 star review. Getting the plastic out of the tube was a real pain, but I finally managed to clear them by plunging with the new laces.
