Good helmet but not what I expect

By ltr5152203 December 6, 2011

Just received this helmet today and try it on around the house. The helmet is nice and light (though not the lightest). The rollsys seems to work great and very comfortable on my head. Helium seems to be a well made helmet though I wish the joins between the different foam are filed down to flush... A small sand paper will do the job though.

Some downsides:
There was no magic buckle even the description says so "Magic buckle uses a magnet to assist in easily and securely fastening the buckle". I was eager to brag out this feature on my Helium (see attachment)

The size I order was "XS/MD (50-56cm)". The helmet came with size XXS-S. Though it still fits me fine, buyer be aware.

From the lazerhelmets website, I saw the word 'Helium' on the helmet. The helmet I received was the 'team edition' which has no 'Helium' on it. How do I brag about 'top-of-the-line' helmet now? I also found some sticker inside the helmet which indicates this is the team helmet for lady (Team Luna Chix). Hopefully no one will laugh at 'the guy wearing lady helmet' on the road.

The buckle is a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully I will get used to it.

Update: I contacted LazerHelmet support and they said the this is probably the older model which does not have magnetic buckle. They offered to swap the buckle for me. Hooray!!! I also forgot to mention that my order came in a large box (4 times the size of the helmet box) with no padding whatsoever. This helmet survived the trip from the warehouse to my home. DepartmentOfGoods, please take note.
