I agree with another reviewer who said that if your intention is to wear this in cold weather with it fully zipped then it will keep you warm and function well, but if you want to wear it casually there is too much neck material for it not to look silly. Also, the fabric is nice, but not, to my mind, nearly as nice as pure wool products from Icebreaker or I/O Bio. I think it's more of a technical piece than a casual one, so I think I just had the wrong expectations for it. I also found it to be a little roomy on my admittedly spare frame, much roomier, say, than the Stoic Breaker Hoody that I just picked up. Finally, I found the seams on the arms to be irritating--probably wouldn't be a problem if worn over a layer, but if you wanted just to throw this on then I think it would be uncomfortable.
