Gear Review
For Tall Men
By I_l4551272 July 12, 2012
I purchased my Theta with some hesitation based on the price alone but I am a firm believer now in Arc'teryx. I have been through one ski season with this shell in temps that have ranged from 0F to 45F. Based on these temps I only need to wear one extra layer to stay nice and cozy on the lift. One of the features that I truly cannot live without now is the hood. It fits perfectly over my helmet and the high zip line protects my face very well.
I went with the XXL b/c I am 6'6 about 240. It is very difficult to find manufactures that make products for men in my size. Because Arc'teryx is designed for climbing everything is cut a little longer. For example, when sitting down the coat will not ride up and expose your lower back.
Two thumbs up!
