Fantastic lightweight touring ski
By Pip Hunt

The Nanuq is a great companion on longer backcountry tours. I've hiked and skied in France, the Wasatch and the Tetons on them and they have yet to let me down. If you are looking for a lighter weight, durable ski that is still stiff enough to ski aggressively (and in the front of your boots with) this is a great option. I usually ski a 179-182, but since I bought these skis specifically for touring and more ski mountaineering lines I went with a 170. This length is great for me when skiing steep (50 degree +) slopes and tight couloirs. They are also nimble enough that I can negotiate them easily and with confidence in technical, exposed terrain. I am also comfortable hitting small-moderate sized areas on this ski; however, if you're looking for a ski to send it or arc big, aggressive, AK style turns I would recommend looking at a different ski!
