I've had this knife for a couple years now and I'm really pleased. It opens so smoothly with either hand and the lock is really sturdy. I use this knife for everything from back country camping to multi-day mule deer hunts in Wyoming. The knife is super sharp to begin with and pretty easy to maintain as well. It easily cuts through packaging, cord, hide, flesh, and pretty much everything else. It's NOT a survival knife, so don't go trying to take down trees with it, but it does pretty well in a pinch. The handle also stays pretty grippy even when its cold and wet. I don't remember where i got it or how much i paid, but when it comes up on S&C for $65 its a killer deal. Either way it's my go-to knife for when I'm leaving civilization for a couple days.
Note: The back of the blade is thin. It tapers from the thickest point in the center of the blade to the edges. So you can't really hammer the back of the blade to drive it through something like that. Also, I've found that over the years and a lot of hard use(prying and other things that it really wasn't meant for) the pivot gets a bit loose. Nothing a little torx screw driver won't take care of though.
