Gear Review
Exceeded my hopes
By lis2433055 July 28, 2012
I had to buy this backpack online and not in person, which created some small amount of doubt. These things are best purchased in person. However, based on the supplied information and a few very helpful reviews, I took the leap. I needed a backpack that was capacious yet not a burden to carry, that had good balance, and separations/pockets that would keep gear from becoming a chaotic mess, and also to keep my small electronics from being bumped, pressured or tangled.
This is the answer! It looked small coming out of the box, but it expands as needed, the construction is sturdy, the material is light, but resists abrasion well and doesn't show too much dirt, but on top of all that, it feels good when I am wearing it, not lopsided or clunky at all. Probably as satisfied with a daypack as I'll ever be! At least, up to this point. Kudos to Dakine, seriously! And thanks, of course, to Dept. of Goods for the great sale price.
