Cloudveil Can't Honor Warranty

Bought this jacket last Spring for Summer trips in the Sierra (actually bought two, one for my son and one for me). I really liked the design of the jacket overall. While on a trip up Mt. Whitney, the stitching on the arm bits blew out. After I returned, I got a RA# from Cloudveil and returned the jacket for repair. About three weeks later I got a check back for the purchase price instead of a repaired jacket. Apparently, due to how the company was sold, Cloudveil can't honor the warranty (which states repair or replace). I would avoid this company until they get their act together.
