Gear Review
Big and blotchy
By boa4629573 November 8, 2012
Got this off SAC for a great price. I really liked the idea of lightening my backpacking load by over 0.5 lbs just by switching to the down shirt vs. a fleece as my midlayer. I'm 5'7 and 150 lbs and wear a solid large shirt in every brand.
Pros: Very very lightweight. Stitching is kinda neat. Fits well in the shoulders
Cons: Endive color is awesome but super thin and transparent- that means the down is visible through the fabric and makes it look splotchy or dirty :( Everything below the bust-line just hangs there and could be tailored in about 3 inches. It's enormous (see the pic of the other reviewer in the blue).
I'd recommend sizing down, but only if you have narrow shoulders!
