The Bern Watts Ski Helmet with knit liner was great! I purchased it on the recommendation of a more avid and experienced Skier. It was the warmest headgear I have ever had. I used it the first time at Sugar Bush Resort in Vermont the weekend of Feb. 11th-13th. The whole weekend served up single digit temps and my head and ears never got cold at all. Also, I took a nasty head bangin' fall where I saw stars. The first thing that came to my mind when I got my head cleared was, man, this helmet just paid for itself on that one. I do not understand why anyone would ski without a helmet. Thanks to Bern and Backcountry for making my trip safer and warmer. Not to mention how durn cool I looked for a 50+ Kid who still likes going over the edge. I highly recommend this helmet. I bought my son one too!
