I've always owned Burton Cargo's, but decided to give these a try because of the insulation - wanted to go less layers - I'm definitely glad I did, these things rock. I've been able to drop one layer and still stay warm. Been riding with them through the early season grapple storms and haven't had any issues with waterproofness. Also the fit is awesome; I usually need a L, but M fit so good and the the length couldn't be better - my cuffs no longer drag ont he graound when walking around.
