This dress fits an "apple" shape perfectly! I am moderately chesty, and I didn't find that the top part was too loose. Also, the fabric loosens up a bit as you wear it (kind of like some jeans), so you might want to go a size down.
I am so pleased with this dress that I am buying it in the purple color, as well. It is comfortable, light, breathable and perfect for nearly every season in my current stomping grounds (New Orleans).
