I bought this pack for my fiancé and she loves it. After several backcountry adventures it still looks new, a testament to its durability. It's large enough to fit everything you need for several nights on the trail. We fit a down sleeping bag, sleeping pad, cookware, clothing and food for several days all in this pack. My fiancé has climbed Horsetail Falls in Northern California and continued to hike all the way to Aloha lake. This is a fairly intense trail (4 pt. scramble through many parts) and she was comfortable the whole way. Most recently we hiked 14 miles into Desolation Wilderness with some fairly aggressive altitude changes and she was very comfortable (even loaded with nearly 40 lbs). I highly recommend this pack.

After considerable research, I once again decided to buy a Gregory backpack. I haven't found another brand that fits me as perfectly and does not generate back pain when camping. I own a much smaller Gregory version and was ready for a larger one. The Gregory Jade 60 is exactly what I was searching for. I had already decided to purchase this specific backpack when I checked out the departmentofgoods website in my price comparison. As usual... they beat out everyone else and I mean EVERYONE ELSE! When departmentofgoods has what you are looking for, they always beat everyone else's prices! Packing and shipping were the usual EXCELLENT and I will of course continue to buy here. I highly recommend this Gregory Jade 60 for women shopping for a backpack that will hold as little or as much as you are planning to need. Although Gregory has very much tailored their backpacks by gender, this does not mean that this would in any way I can see not work PERFECTLY for a male. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BOTH GENDERS!
