Gear Review
Awesome. Just awesome.

I bought this with the intention of doing more backpacking trips and, now that I have it, I do exactly that! It is truly massive if you want it to be--Ive fit food, water, search and rescue gear, medical gear, a tent, sleeping bag and pad, a stove, and cook kit in it and still not been able to fill it. With that being said, I've also gone day hiking with it with just a med kit, food, and water and been totally comfortable with it. It's a super flexible pack in that you have three outer pockets plus the "brain" up top. For a college kid who leads trips in the backcountry and is a SAR technician on the weekends, it's absolutely brilliant. Pretty much the best pack I've ever owned--It's a small brand, cheaper than a North Face or Kelty, probably the best made pack I've seen in a while, pretty darn waterproof without the built in pack cover, and most important, super, SUPER comfy on the back. When carrying all the gear listed up above, I ended up clipping a ~50 lb litter into my pack because I was called out to help with a rescue. The pack did great, super durable and even more comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend it.
