Are these stitched weird or what?

Okay, I ordered these in 2 different sizes and expected that out of all the shorts I got, these were going to be the winner. I have a smaller butt and the reviews made mention of that being an issue with these shorts (too small in the butt), so I thought they'd work for me. The butt is smaller as it actually fit me, but I kept feeling like I needed to twist them. I'm guessing it had to do with the fact that the white line is asymmetrical and actually pulls on the fabric or something? They just felt like they were on sideways and I couldn't fix it. But if you're interested, I'm 5'6" 115 lbs, and the small fit me. The rise was decent considering I find the rise on other Maloja shorts to be too high.
Bummed I didn't like them. They actually look more like board shorts than biking shorts as well. Not that that's a bad thing.
