Gear Review
Amazing.

I got this bike last week and I can hardly describe how it performed. With the massive bb386 bottom bracket, it's super stiff so that all of the energy that you put into the cranks goes straight into the drive train. And I can't get over the matte black paint job. In the words of Ferris Bueller, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. "

@ Gary, I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your whip as much as I have been all summer. @emi3038334, It's holding up just fine. I haven't had any issues with it all summer long. If you have any specific questions about it, feel free to call at 800.409.4502 and ask for me.

Justin, How's the crank conversion holding up?

after 5 rides and about 125 miles, i can say that this is a world class bike at a amazing price..the frame is incredibly kite and strong but fast and beautiful to look at.. i am 220 pound and the frame doesn't flex at all..

just took the l1 on it's maiden voyage in the Catskill mountains of Upstate NY. First thing you notice about the bike is its beauty and world class looks. The ride is quick out of the blocks and the lateral stiffness out of the saddle is impressive, i noticed on the descents that the bike is stable but fast with incredible handling, can't wait for tomorrows ride!

@Baq100255310, That is indeed an ultegra compact. You just need to get a BB386 adaptor, such as http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY ?PAGE=BUY_PRODUCT_STANDARD&PRODUCT.I D=10502&MODE=. That's the exact one I used and it works perfectly.
@ Gary Barba. It depends on the time of the year :) I usually fluctuate between 155-165. I was in contact with our Litespeed rep during the time I was building my bike up and he assured me (and I agree) that the frameset is rather robust. For you're weight, I'd definitely get a set of "Klydsdale" type wheels though. Just my 2 cents anyway.

Is that an Ultegra compact crankset on this bike? If so, was it easy to set up?
