Agama
By daw5842167 December 9, 2012
I bought the agama as a school pack, a pack to grab and go with, and a light hiker. I am very disappointed in the product. First, the pack did not come in the color as described. It turns out I actually liked the other color, but this is the second MHW product ordered from Backcountry that had this issue. Second, the true internal capacity of the bag is not 30L, and is smaller - rather they took into the account the volume of the front pouch. My final issue is with the fron pouch. the daisy chains and the buckle at the top are quite weak - they tear down against the zipper (and though it is burly) it causes the zipper to tear prematurely and also for the pocket to unzip.
The pack, however, is comfortable as it shares the same Coolwave suspension as the other MHW packs.
My verdict? Don't go with the Agama. Instead, use the money towards the Palladin or Enterprise.
