When you remove the jacket, is it just a shell? Meaning, does it have fleece anywhere besides the inner jacket? I hate being on the slopes and snow sticks to the bottom of my jacket and makes my but cold all day.

This jacket has two layers, the inside fleece and the outside shell. The outside shell does have lower back straps you can tighten to prevent snow getting all up in your grill.
