I'm 5'7" tall- if I get an XL would it be too long?...

I'm 5'7" tall- if I get an XL would it be too long? I would like it to sit just below my belt line. I have a little "beer" belly so that mite make up for some space :)

I think you would find the sleeves too long and shoulders too wide in an XL, unless you're broad in the shoulders. I find myself in that situation with most jackets and shirts. My shoulders and chest are XL, but everything else is L
