I'm 5'6.5", and 138lbs. will a small be a good fit. I usually like a snug fit.

should be a good fit. I'm 5'9" 145 lbs and it fits snug on my torso. It is a bit longer in the body than some other fleece I have, which I like since most smalls fit my torso well.
