I tried this shoe on and was amazed that the one I tried on by accident happened to be a 10....usually I take an 8.5 wide or 9 shoe.....does this usually fit so small?

I normally wear an 8.5M - I sized up to 9M based on other recommendations and it's almost too loose. I felt like these sandals fit true to size.
