It's wired for audio with a bluetooth for a phone interface so you can make/receive calls with a bluetooth phone but for music it's wired. I got the motorola bluetooth kit that goes with the giro audio helmets sold separately and it's awesome. You can use that setup with or without the helmet and it works great for playing music and for conversations from a bluetooth phone.
