La Sportiva Katana Climbing Shoe - DO NOT USE

I work at an outdoors store, so I tried on every pair of shoes we had. 5-10, Mad Rock, Evolv, Boreal, and other Sportiva models, but none of them could compare to the Katanas. Not only do they fit real comfy (I could wear 1.5 sizes smaller in them than the others) but they are superb at edging and not bad when it comes to the heel either. Smearing isn't their strength, but no shoe can do everything perfect. They did stretch about a size, though, so buy them as small as you can. When you try them on at the store make sure its in the afternoon when you're feet are swollen. You can't do better than the Katana.
