I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of these shorts at first. They seemed entirely too thin and comfortable to stand up to some of the abuse that I often put my gear through. But after being put to the test on a hiking trip on Mt. Rainier, a sailing trip in the San Juan islands and lots of everyday wear...I have fallen in love. Not only do these shorts withstand immense abuse, they do so in comfort and with style. These are, hands down, the best shorts on the market.
The pros:
*They withstood anything I could throw at them (ripping, abrasion and lots of wear)
*They did an excellent job of staying cool and dry
*There wasn't any extra fabric to snag on branches or rigging
*They dry incredibly fast
*The pockets are surprisingly large
*They look fantastic and are great for everyday wear
*They are very light and comfortable
The cons:
*They are expensive (at $70-$85 USD)
*They will make everyone else jealous
*You will want to wear them every single day and won't want to take them off at night.
