Living in Hawaii has its good points obviously, but there are some disadvantages--one being the difficulty in obtaining isobutane-propane canisters for stoves and lanterns. In addition to some white-gas fueled backpacking stoves and lanterns, I also own a Brunton Crux stove (which I really like) Getting proper fuel canisters is becoming very problematic with the new postal and TSA regulations. The only Lindal valve-equipped fuel canisters the local Sport Authority carries are Coleman brand which have a slighty higher propane percentage than the Brunton or Snow Peak canisters that I normally use and do not work well in either of my Brunton units. So, when I saw a mention of the new Glorb-LED lantern on your website and it was in stock, and immediately ordered it. It arrived in a very short time and I have to say, I'm very pleased with it. I haven't had a chance to actually use it on a hike yet, but did have an opportunity to use it during a power outage and I found the light output to be quite sufficient for use around the dining table. There is some "dazzle" when your eyes are above the level of the LED's in the lantern, but I found the light output (with all four LED's lit) and quality (very white) to be very useful. I also like the fact that I can safely use it in my tent, and that I should have no problems keeping the lantern "fueled" with commonly available AA cells. Oh, one other thing; it's a LOT less expensive than the Liberty and most other canister lanterns. For anyone interested in a lightweight, durable lantern, I highly recommend the Brunton Glorb-LED lantern.
