Last fall we, four of us, went up into the high country (above timberline a thousand feet or so) without a tent because the weather was supposed to be "beautiful" which it was. We took blue tarps to be light on the long trip just in case, and ended up snowed under tarps for 3 days. My buddy also had a Tundra bag in a regular size. I'm 6'4" and about 215 lbs when in backpacking shape. This bag was getting constantly soaked with water on it from condensation. We stayed dry and warm inside our Tundra's, the other two made it by, but not in as good of shape as we were. When the snow started getting deep in the rocks we bailed down a drainage. I love this bag in fall and am leaving here shortly again with it in my pack. It's big but worth it.
