Lib Tech has become one of the biggest players in a growing sport and hobby...Their BTX and magnetraction is evidence of evolving technologies. Coming from a standard cambered Never Summer TITAN, my feelings are mixed about this the TRS. Although I went 2 cms shorter and did NOT set back the bindings on the TRS, I felt the float was just as good as my titan. That being said, even after 4 full days, I never felt "comfortable" on groomers and cat tracks. I never fully caught any edges, but felt the TRS was very significantly less stable at speed and on groomers than the Never Summer flagship all mountain board.
I'm sure many will enjoy the Lib Tech, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention the durability of this board. Being used to the magnificent machining of the titan, I was very very upset that after 4 days in powder and groomed slopes (no park), the Lib Tech looked tore up...cracked topsheet, rusty edges, etc...and i treat all my equipment with utmost respect...THere is a reason Never summer has the best warranty in the land...3 freakin years...I will never buy a non NS board again... ;o)
