Burton Malolo Snowboard

This board is very good in deep snow and it is just as good on groomed runs. To me it has a playful feel that I find great for carving and doing slasher type switchbacks. I started skateboarding in the early 70's when the sports roots were surfer based. So my snowboard style draws from my skateboard style which draws from a surfing style. The Malolo fits that perfectly. Don't expect to take it in the park and go jibbing or pipe riding, but if you just want to raise hell all over the mountain this board will do it. For days when things are really packed down and slick (or iced up) you might want something a little more traditional. For most days you won’t need (or want) anything else.
