The design is aggressively simple without the extra layers making it less wide and with less weight. The laces are very easy to adjust all done through a single pull on the grip handle. The harder you pull the tighter the boot becomes w/o the worries of the laces getting un-done. Inside you'll find a thinner sole which is great on giving you more board feel. The liner is stationary on the boot. After riding for 4hrs+ sweat and moisture builds up which leaves you with a wet liner feeling. The quickest way to dry it out is to place a hair blower inside the boot, a bummer because it gives you extra work to do. Also, the lack of colors is a down side. But for an extra couple of bucks you can upgrade to the FDB which is the same exact boot but in white. All in all, I would highly recommend this boot. This is my fifth boot and my first Salomon purchase and I am convince by far compared to all the others the F20 is the best freestyle boot for the moment.
