Icebreaker is the best clothing around. I bought my first piece in New Zealand. It is the greatest clothing to ride all day in and go to the bar in. I wore mine for over a week and it didn't really smell.

I wore these socks while traveling in New Zealand. In the warm climates and the cold climates the were great. Merino wool is the best material around.

SmartWool socks are the only socks I ever trail run in. They are solid even when your feet are wet. I have never gotten a blister while running in these socks. I sprained an arch and they provided super comfortable cushion and support in the arch.

This ski will rip through anything. They hold solid on the groomers and charge through the pow. With the added steel in this years model they are even stronger and more responsive.

This is a great binding. I put in on my 183 gotamas. The breaks only have to be bent a little to get around the 105mm waist. Make sure to set your DIN high.

This is my first softshell. It breathes really well even though it is windproof and waterproof. I have toured in it several times and haven't had a problem with overheating. Pockets, pockets and more pockets.

This jacket is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. The only thing I don't like about it is the way it looks. It makes anyone one who wears it look like they have massive shoulders.

The Karma is a solid ski. It is a bit heavy but has some really good pop. With it's solid price you can't go wrong.

This boot is comfortable and responsive. To add a bit more beef consider a booster strap and some foot beds. The X-wave can be customized in a ton of aspects.

These poles are strong as hell. I landed on one and it didn't break. As far as poles go these are a good, strong option.

These shorts are great for paddling. They are comfortable, and they dry in minutes.

These are the only gloves I wear when it is above 15 degrees. They aren't bulky at all. They do run a bit small and you can wash them in the machine.

I bought this stove to travel when I was overseas. I was very disappointed. I was constantly cleaning it and fixing it. I like the capability to use any type of fuel but the headaches are not worth it.

I was nervous at first about the style of this tent. I was very impressed by the ease and speed of set up. It makes night set ups great. Along with being light and fast, the capability to only use a shelter is very convenient.

I love my precip. I have owned 2 so far and would by another one in a heart beat. It's packability is great and it is easy to bring on any trip. It is a must for anyone in need of a raincoat.

The Covert pack is a super pack for day tours. Hopefully, I will never have to find out how well the Avalung works but the concept and design behind it is genius.

The Barryvox is a great beacon. Easy to use and follow. I did drop mine on the ground and had to send it back to Mammut. They sent me a new one within two weeks. Practice, practice, practice.

I had the opportunity to try this beacon out in a controlled environment. It is a super easy beacon to use. The compass feature gives the beacon the very accurate readings. Another great aspect of this beacon is the multiple burial function. It shows you the signal that is closet to you and you are able to check each individual one off as necessary. Remember the only way this beacon is effective is to practice.

This probe is easy to use and can be extended fairly quickly. It is super strong as well. I took a huge fall on it and it survived unscathed. It is a super lightweight probe that is easy to pack away and at the same time easy to expand and use.

These goggles fit great with a helmet. The gaper gap disappears and there are no bare spots. The field of vision is huge and fog is nonexistent.

I wore these socks for 12 days. They performed marvelously. The bonus side is that they didn't stink up my house.

This base layer is great. The only problem is they start to smell pretty badly pretty fast.

This filter is easy to use and fix. I broke mine in the backcountry and was able to fix it. It still worked very efficiently and effectively.

This stove is great. It simmers very well but doesn't work that great when it is super cold. Packs small and is super easy to clean.

I owned a version of this pack that was a few years old and I am disappointed in the new style. I think the old style had more versatility and had all the options the new one does. However, on the positive side this pack has great access to the main cargo pocket.

This Dakine pack is perfect for the day tours. This pack has all kinds of versatility to carry skis or a board.

This is the best beacon on the market right now. It is easy to use and works great in multiple burial situations. The range is surprisingly very good in digital and even better in analog.
