Therm-a-Rest NeoAir All-Season Sleeping Pad
December 16, 2011
I have a neo-air and love it for comfort. If you're going to be out for months on end, you're taking a risk by only bringing this pad - there's always a chance the inflatables will puncture. That said, I'd probably still use it (the good night's sleep is worth it for my temperamental back) and just be careful to put some sort of barrier between it and any wood planks that might have splinters. I have two 45# pups who do walk over these in the tent - their nails have never punctured one yet so that's all Im basing my comment on. You're def going to find people falling on both sides of this issue. Perhaps just consider bringing a tiny repair kit if you'll have time and the ability to find and fix punctures along the way.

Marmot Venus Down Jacket - Women's
December 16, 2011
I've had this jacket for 4yrs now and it holds up well to washing. I have a front loading washer/dryer, so that helps a touch as to keeping it from being beat up. When I wash it, I use the nikwax down wash on the hand wash cycle that uses a gentle spin. I lay it flat to mostly dry and then throw it in the dryer on an air fluff setting for the final drying. Put a single clean tennis ball in the dryer on the air fluff cycle to revitalize the loft of the jacket.

CW-X Stabilyx Tight - Men's
November 22, 2011
Check out the CW-X website where you can compare the differences between the tights. Each type focus support on slightly different areas/combinations of areas:
http://cw-x.com/Shop.aspx?sub=compareProducts
I honestly have both a running pair and a recovery pair of tights. When I'm doing really intense interval training for ironman training, I wear the recovery tights at night in hopes that they'll help me be ready for the next back to back workout. I suppose I could get the same effect I see w/the tights via ice baths and such. If you've never had to worry about lactic acid build up after workouts, maybe you don't need the recovery tights.
This is the first year I've used their running specific tights. For me the biggest thing I notice is the support for my knees/IT bands. If you have no joint/ligament issues, maybe you don't need the running pair.
Really just depends on if you want to feel better while running...or would like the added benefit of feeling a little more ready (muscles will feel more fresh) for each workout.
For reference, I chose the Stabilyx tight for my last marathon. The pro tight shows less knee support on the CW-X comparison website feature - I needed knee support more than anything.
Hope this is what you were looking for in an answer.

CW-X Stabilyx Tight - Men's
November 22, 2011
Hopefully a dude will help out w/this question...
Till then, I can tell you I'm kinda in the same deparment. XS by height and in the XS grey area by weight. My thighs (21")/calves(15") are more muscular than the average lady, so I decided to order both and try them on. I kid you not that there is no way I could've fit my calves, let alone my thighs in the XS. The small felt v.snug the first few runs, and have stretched out a touch after ~50 miles run. Even if I could've fit into the xs, the truth is that I'm not sure I would've wanted them that snug for my long distance running. Hopefully a guy will respond as well - I'm sure their measurements will help a touch more.

Is the hip belt sizing the same on all of the sizes? If so, is the smallest circumference the hip belt will go the 32" mentioned in reviews below?

Osprey Packs Kode 30 Backpack - 1600-2000cu in
March 8, 2011
This response is a bit late, but I'm a little person - 120#, 5'2" - I got the small pack. It contours to my back perfectly, so I'd assume your +6" means a medium would work better for you. I had to cut and refinish several of the straps because they'd be able to fit around a v.large person - I'm assuming you'll have this issue as well.
