I have used this pack for several years on week long trips in Colorado and New Mexico. I am not an ultra-light-type and I like to take along some creature comforts and this pack has plenty of room to take what anyone might need. It is extremely comfortable with 55+ lbs and the suspension system allows for endless adjustability that helps distribute the load as needed. The materials used to construct this pack are absolutely bombproof, as this pack has stood up to years of hard use and abuse. For a weekend trip this pack might be a bit much, but for anyone considering 5 days or longer on the trail, this is as good as it gets.

I love this stove! I have used it for several years in the high mountains (8,000 to 14,000 ft) of Colorado and New Mexico. It simmers like a gem when needed and absolutely cranks if you want to melt snow or boil water. It is a bit loud, but I have always liked that, as it announces to the wildlife (bears) that man has arrived. Match this with the lightweight stove stand made by UCO and you have the best stove in the world. I own seven (I sell backpacking equipment for a living) of the top backpacking stoves in the world and the DragonFly is my top choice. My Optimus Nova is a close second, and maybe my top choice on an international trip due to the fact that you do not have to change the jets (you do on the DragonFly) when switching between kerosene and white gas. One last thing, all types of replacement parts and maintenance equipment are readily available for the DragonFly at any decent backpacking store, so upkeep is a breeze.
