I tried three other pairs of boots (Scarpa T2, T2X, and Garmont Syner-G) before I got into the Crispi CXP none fit my foot. I have a very wide foot with a high arch, to fit into the other boots I had to compensate on length to fit the width of my foot. The Garmont's are said to be the widest, but I found that the difference from going to a 28 to a 29 was huge where the 28 fit like a vise and my foot was swimming in the 29. (My foot size is 10 1/2 EE.) The Crispi in size 29 not only fit like a glove but is a great all-mountain performer. For those of you who want a seriously stiff power boot (i.e. the Scarps T1) the CXP may be a bit soft in flex and a bit short, but for just ripping all terrain and off piste the CXP can do it all. The bellows have a softer flex and the height is mid-calf. I found it has plenty of power to push around crud and spring slush snow as well. Best boot I've found, and I tried them all.
