This tent is nice and compact, easy to setup and better than anything else I've owned. The floor is a little thin, but with the K-mart ground sheet we purchased it did just fine.
The first night (beach) we tried it without the raincap to look at the heavens, but the heavy dew dripped right through the tent fabric, even without us touching it (top vent closed after midnight). The second night (beach) we installed the raincap and fully opened all vents below the cap. The wet night air got under the raincap and dripped on us thru the overhead screen - this was an improvement, but still not completely dry. We had no rain. The third night we were on a platform that the parks department sets up on inland bays, with a roof shelter. We left off the raincap and only had a little bit of dew induced moisture enter the tent. There were all brand new blue jons that matched our tent at all the sites we paddled to, the brown ones were blown away last fall. A lot of the mangroves were sucked clean of there foliage, but have started to recover - plenty of firewood.
Not sure if the tent fabric performs as advertised or if we need to douse it in some nasty chemical. The other two tents we've tried at the same venues in past years, both single wall, did not seem to have as much of a problem with the heavy dew.
