KEEN Newport H2 Sandal - Men's

very nice for river use. good enough for portages. have even worn these quite a bit around town but feel they are not real dependable for demanding hiking. feet can slip and the openness on the sides give some rock, thorns and bugs to get a cheap shot in plus you may pick up a pebble etc for a free ride. my best gal loves hers also. the first pair i had ripped on the side during a mud hike....they were well used when it happened.
