Arc'teryx Rampart Long Short - Women's

Arc'teryx Rampart Long Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 14, 2010

Ordered these not sure what to expect...now find myself mulling over buying a second pair. Lightweight, easy to move in (even deep squats and reaches), quick to dry, easy to clean, no shrinking. Wore these climbing at Joshua Tree last weekend, took them off expecting them (especially the butt) to have been grated and torn by the granite YET as per all my other Arcteryx buys, they look brand new after some pretty gritty use. Also, not a mannish looking pant for the length.

Pants Forever

Arc'teryx Aura Pant - Women's

Arc'teryx Aura Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

These pants don't look like much coming out of the box; the material at first is kind of meh...however! Like every other piece of Arcteryx I own ( a lot), these get thrashed and come out in the wash looking brand new. I wore these throughout Central America, during eight hour slogs through mire and rain up and down volcanoes, through forests, in hot and cold and when I came back home for their first 'real' wash, the fabric sustained not a scratch or stain. Somehow in the humidity the fabric always breathed, never felt sticky or sweaty. The pants are actually flattering and can be worn out at night as well as during a climb.

Arc'teryx Covert Cardigan - Women's

Arc'teryx Covert Cardigan - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2006

Great shape. Amazing weave to the fleece—looks like a sweater, feels like a fleece. I've purchased a lot of garments that talk a lot about 'wicking' properties in their fabrics, but this is the only thing I've owned where it's true. Wearing it for warm-up on a hike for example, I sweat easily and normally I might even sweat through a thin fleece a bit, but when I took it off, beads of sweat had been mysteriously redistributed elsewhere, and the armpit fabric remained cool to the touch. Flattering shape, long enough in the torso, wicked zips.
