I read a lot of the reviews before ordering this stuff, and I was surprised by how creamy it was. If you are expecting something like gatorade, but less sugar, look elsewhere.

These are great bars! I had it for the first time a couple of weeks ago while on a ski trip. My brother and I both had the bar for lunch and didn't need to stop skiing for a break. They are pretty sweet, more like a candy bar, but they are packed with protein.

I got this off of SAC the other day, it was a great deal, but I think I'm sending it back. I loved the quality and the color, with the different color in the hood.
I have the Cloudveil RPK shell and I like to wear it with a down layer underneath, the Marmot Ama Dablam Down. Unfortunately, the Inversion Jacket didn't give me the same freedom of movement I was seeking to replace. It was a very light jacket, but a lot longer than I had expected and the arms were made for a body builder. I don't like when my insulating layers are too big. I also found that the quilted look is more faltering than the horizontal seems.

Hurricane proof rain jacket. I camped in this jacket during a hurricane and it stayed dry the whole time. My only complaint is the stretchy part on the cuffs, my shirt underneath ended up with wet cuffs. The fit is great, it comes right below my hips. Great big hood, it should work well for ski season too.

Very comfortable socks. Lately most of the socks that have any cushion seem to be too thick. These socks are both thin and supportive. I love the blue.

This is an amazing jacket. It fits very well and doesn't give me the football player look that Arcteryx jackets give me. The pockets inside and out are great, with lots of place to store things. I wouldn't really consider it a soft shell, I would put it in the technical shell category. The only issue I noticed was the hood isn't helmet compatible, which is weird for a jacket recommended for skiing.

This is a great shovel. I thought that I would be suffering because I went for the metal over the lexan one but I'm not. It fits perfectly in my Ortovox pack.

I wear a size large helmet and this hat fits great. I love the style. The ear flaps keep the wind out of my ears. I don't think the blue is quite as bright as it looks in this picture.

I am very happy with these goggles. I got them because they match my skis, but I have ended up wearing them more than any of my other goggles. The lens works very well on flat days and night skiing. I have had some problems with goggles that are too large for my face and these fit perfectly. My only gripe is that I can't seem to be able to keep the lenses clear.

Great vest, very warm, only issue is the pockets. They are very deep, but they aren't in the least bit warm. They are out side the insulation and only the shell is there to protect you from the cold.

This is the best helmet for young children. POC took everything into consideration when putting together the helmet package. There are more things to worry about than the child wrecking themselves on the slopes.

These are awesome! Like Scotty B, I got them on SAC, but I think they would be well worth the full price if you didn't want them in the red color that was available. This is my first pair of non-Smith sunglasses, and I am very happy with them. The polarized lenses are so clear.

The rumors are true, these are the most comfortable not shoes there are. Order a size down in these ones, but the fur line ones don't stretch as much. I think these are the only sandals you can wear to work. Well worth the price.

I would have expected a 110 boot to be less bulky. I switched back to race boots after skiing in these for two weeks.

I have a lot of little racers in these pants. They hold up well to the constant beating kids can put on their gear. The only thing that I have seen come up is problems with the full length zipper. This zipper is pretty important to racers and used a lot, so it's a real pain when its freezing cold and you're trying to unjam the zip.

I would go to with the Montbell Ultralight, as you said it packs down to nothing, the fill is 800, which is better than this one. It is also $50 cheaper. Both have the lifetime warranty, but the Montbell seems like more warmth for the weight.

This is an amazing combination. Why didn't anyone think of this earlier. Very warm and low weight together!

Surprisingly comfortable. I thought this helmet had too much going on for it to really be comfortable, but I was wrong. This helmet is on sale a lot too, which makes it a great buy.

I got this for my niece, little kids deserve good gear too. It is true to size and the hood is big enough for little kids big heads.

Absolutely the best helmet on the market. POC offers the top of the line protection, without charging 350$ for it. The helmet is super light weight and one of the most comfortable helmets I've worn. It breaths very well and keeps your ears warm! My head is a 58 and I wear a large, which is true to size.

I have three pairs of these glasses for a reason. I love them. They are so light, but I never have a problem with them falling off. I used to use them every day as a lifeguard and they had great coverage. I have also used them skiing and biking and have been very happy with them.

This jacket it alright, I think it runs a bit small and isn't very warm. I highly recommend getting the hooded one, and ordering the size up if sometimes you are the size up. This jacket is also kind of short. The sleeves are long so you can cover your hands when it is cold, and they have an extra layer of fleece at the end to help with keeping the cold out as well. This is a fully waterproof soft shell, which is nice and different. If you are debating between this and one of the Arcteryx softshells, go with Arcteryx.

I'm very happy with this bottle. I was very surprised by how light the bottle is. It is way cuter than the nalgene too.

I have had this jacket for about 10 years now, and it's really the best jacket when its freezing cold out. It is great to take backpacking because it is light and packs well. This is going to be one of those jackets I keep forever.

I really think the only differences between this jacket and a trash bag are the sleeves and the cut, otherwise they perform about the same in the rain. This doesn't breath well at all. The jacket's only redeeming qualities are that its really light and you can almost always find it on sale.

Very narrow, like most Chacos, so buy a size up. The strap also hits under your foot further back than most flip flops so they take some getting used to.

This bag is awesome, it fits my 15in macbook pro pretty well. I have to put in in the front compartment, instead of the back one, which is intended for laptops. I have the green one, it's such a great color. Patagonia also has a very good warranty, so if anything happens, they will send you a new one.

I love that Arc'teryx, doesn't just make a fleece, they make it windproof, and make it shed water. Great jacket, I think I'd have a hard time paying full price for it, that's why I gave it 4 stars.

I put 101 days on these pants last season. While, gloves, backpacks and skis fell apart these pants still look like new. I highly recommend these pants to anyone skiing in the rain in the East. For those of you that backcountry ski, these are very breathable and keep you feeling cool and dry while you're working for your turns.

There are a couple of features that this bag has that make it the bag you should buy. First of all the wheels are really smooth, and I don't feel like I'm going to break them when I run down the stairs with the bag. Second, there are two straps across the front of the bag that make it so easy to lift up and off a conveyor in the airport or out of your trunk. Third is the stretchy fabric that separates the different compartments. I tend to over load the bag and the material gives me some extra space. Of course it's really cute too.

I could wear this layer 365 days a year and be comfortable in it. It keeps me warm in the winter under a jacket and it is great for a summer night around a fire. Don't buy one of these, buy two. You will need to have one to wear while the other is in the wash.

I wear this jacket as a layer most of the time. It fits well under my Arcteryx Javelin shell. Do not buy this jacket if you are expecting a sub zero down. It works best as a layer with another layer underneath. This is my favorite hood on a down jacket, it actually has enough down it to keep my head warm, and its helmet compatible.

These sun glasses keep the sun out so I don't get a headache while I'm hiking in the snow. I'm very happy with the Smith warranty. These glasses look great on guys and girls, and fit my medium face well.

This fleece is so soft and warm, but not windproof. It is a bit bulky. I washed it and kind of ruined it, its not fluffy at all now. Great jacket, just don't ruin it in the wash (or dryer, I donno what I did to it).

I got these skis toward the end of last season. I hiked the ridge with them my first run, they were exactly what I was looking for. I had been on a womens powder ski, and as a former racer, they were a bit too soft even for powder. The ski completely changed the way I was getting to the bottom. The Scott P4's have the perfect amount of snap to them, throwing you right into the next turn. These skis, although quite wide, also perform well on groomers if that's the only way to the base. They are very stable at high speeds. Overall they were great in deep powder days on the steeps, groomers and backcountry in June.

I love this water bottle. I had no problem with it at high elevations. It never leaked, even when I was constantly changing elevation. I do get told I use a sippy cup at work, but it is better than using the nalgene. I highly recommend this to anyone. My 18 month old niece loves hers.

These goggles took me a little while to get used to because they were really big on my face. I think I got them before they came in two sizes. Women should consider getting the smalls. I never had a problem with them fogging up, even when I was hiking.

Sit on your butt a lot in the snow, does your butt freeze to the chair lift? Problem solved with these shorts. They fit well under ski pants and only cover what really needs an extra layer. Hot Buns are for old people, wear the ultimate boxer shorts.

Perfect size, I'm so glad that I got the women's pack. The hip belt is very comfortable and hits my hips and not my waist like my dakine backpack did. I can easily fit everything I need without feeling like I have a huge pack on. It's a little heavy, but worth it for the back protection.

This is the third softshell I've owned and by far my favorite. This jacket is great for anything. I wear it skiing and I wear it out. It's got a great cut to it, so it looks nice. I love the big hood for when I'm skiing with my helmet and the bigger sleeves are also nice for days that you need to layer.
