I've only had my Synchro for a couple of weeks, but I've already had the opportunity to use it in various weather conditions and it has just been awesome. Whether you use it for pouring rain, a frigid blizzard, or just wearing it around town, it will keep you dry and comfortable. It's very light and has good room through the shoulders. It seems that the hooded Synchro was really an improvement over the original no-hood jacket from last year. The underarm vents and the taped seams are a few of the changes. The new waterproof zipper is a bit difficult to zip up, but that is bearable. I also find the fleece liner for the sleeves to be too grippy if I am wearing a long sleeve shirt or fleece layer underneath, making it a bit harder to take off.
The quality construction is top notch like most Mountain Hardwear gear, and it's a great looking jacket. I find that I wear it more than anything else that I own.
