Love these boots! They are stylish, affordable and most importantly, they perform as described: toasty warm and totally waterproof. You have to wear leggings or high socks while breaking them in so they don't rub, but once broken in, they are so sinfully comfortable it reminds me of a line Red Foreman (That 70's Show) said, "It's like walking on a pile of baby ducks!" I hike through woods and fields, cross swampland and creeks, and even slip 'em on unzipped to get the mail/take out trash, etc. Last week I really found out what they're made of when we got 18 inches of snow, but snowdrifts blown across the lane to my barn made it 30 inches or so in places. It was wet, heavy snow with a crust of ice on top. I tried to make it down there with my 4WD, but was slipping like crazy and almost took out a section of fence. I had to park and walk (a loooong walk with both up and downhill grades). Boy was I winded by time I made it to the horses; I was also wet from the top of my boots up, but my feet were toasty and dry. No snow made it past the collar of those boots, and I didn't slip or lose traction even once. I've had all sorts of winter boots, but none as waterproof, good-looking, or warm as these, and with a great price to boot (ok, bad pun) but I'm hooked. I think I'll get a pair in every color.
