this is a very handy item to have in your boat. i take my 60# lab with me in an old town 138 and he always jumps in the drink sooner or later. so when i have to hoist him back in the boat he brings along about a gallon of water too. with this pump its a snap to get the water back in the drink.

my legend is strapped to my side everyday, and i use it at least once everyday as well. the spring loaded pliers are awesome and the knife holds a pretty good edge. this is big enough to feel like an actual tool in your hand but isnt real heavy, although it is heavier than others on the market. i have had mine for about eight years and still works like new. it is on the pricey side, but when you need it the most, you will be glad you paid a little extra for it. the only thing i wish it had is a little bit smaller phillips screwdriver along with the larger one. i have used this while in the mountains, on the water, in the winter and summer, around the house, and at work. pretty much everywhere i go. i love it! the only downfall of having this tool is that everyone knows you have the bottle opener:)

i know glove liners are like a season's ski pass, good for a year. but these glove liners have only lasted a couple of outings and have holes, rips, and threadbare already. when i first bought them they were great but quickly lost the luster. going back to silk liners.

i was an old school sleeper and always used a closed cell foam pad until my wife bought a BA. i tried it out and found i slept like a baby. this is a great pad for many reasons. packs easily, 2.5 inches of comfort, durable, and priced much less than others in this class. the only thing i can find wrong with it is it is alittle slippery feeling with a sleeping bag. if you move around alot this could be a downer. for myself, i think this thing is awesome and i feel fully rested when i wake up in the morning.

this is a good helmet overall, good protection, light weight, adjustable. my only complaint is if you have a big dome the half dome chin strap is uncomfortable. i have a large adam's apple as well and the combo of large head/throat is restricting with the strap.

yes they are bulky if you have the liners in and yes they are priced a bit steep, but when you are miles from the nearest safety exit these are the mitts you want to save your digits. the palms are super grippy, cinch cords work great, and the idiot cord is awesome in high winds when you need to take them off to use your hands for precise work. my hands have never been cold with them on and i have used them in temps down in the minus 35. i have never had another mitt keep my hands warm in that temp, period.

highly recommended, these are great poles for any season. i like the fact they will not fail in winters cold conditions and pack up small when you need to trade for an ice axe. all you do is flick the lock and retract down under 27 inches. the shock component is great and noiseless unlike some others you hear the spring coiling/uncoiling. the grip is another great feature and extends down the shaft for none slip grip when you need to shorten your pole grip.

awesome spikes. very adjustable and easy to use. great general mountaineering spikes that you can use with plastic double boots to crocs,(i've done it), although i wouldnt recommend it. we have afew different brands of general mountaineering crampons and these are my fav.

i have had this bag for awhile now and it works great. easily fits your crampons and other gear. i have used the crampon bags with the mesh panels and they suck. i have not had a problem with points sticking through at all. good product, very functional.

great jacket! i am 5'10" and 185 lbs. and wear the large. this is my winter mountaineering shell and can layer up with several layering options with this including primaloft and puffy down. the fit is long in the torso and sleeves, but this is a good thing when reaching and lifting arms overhead. i like the snowskirt option and that it has a storm flap over the front zipper. i also like the fact that you can zip yourself right up in this thing like a turtle in its shell. the hood has good adjustability and accommodates a helmet well. i would buy this again if needed. if you want to feel like superman in the elements, this is the jacket.

i use these for everything from winter mountaineering to summer trail work. tough as nails and keeps the crap out of your boots much better than other gaiters i have used...great product!

i love this headlamp! small; packs easy in your pocket,pack,or anywhere you need to stuff it. it is light so you can go ultra if need be and bright when you need to rifle through your gear for something or run to the privy in the middle of the night. i have many(6) lamps and this is the one i go to when i am out on the trail. it is bright enough to use for running, hiking, camping, and walking the dog. the best lamp in the price range and better than some that are much more expensive. bang for your buck, this thing rocks!

this is a nice jacket to have in the backpack to layer up with or to have on to hit the town. the primaloft insulation works great to keep you warm when you hit tree line and need to hike two more miles of wind swept exposure to hit the summit......i gave this jacket a 4 star rating because of 2 things. 1- the front hand pockets do not have insulation running between the pocket and shell so it wont really keep your hands warm.# 2- the shell is is not very water resistant, but will still keep you toasty when wet. youll need a tech. shell when its raining. overall this is a very good jacket and has kept me warm in the mountains many times.

this thing is awesome. much faster than the 3 in 1. we have two, one for each dromlite bag. works great for larger groups, we usually have around ten or so in our group so being speedy at the spigot is a must.

M.H. did it right. this beanie hits the spot. you can stuff it in your jacket pocket before you hit the slopes and whip it out just before you hit the pub so you dont flash the helmet hair. the brim is easy to form and the large fits my 60cm dome great.

i have a 60# black lab mix, realy he is a heinz 57(alittle bit of everything). he uses the med. size pack and it works great. enough room to pack a weeks worth of food easy. seems to be comfy for the dog and you can adjust as you need to with the chest and belly straps. would buy it again if ever needed.

i have hard feet to match up with footwear. not because they are deformed or anything, but because of so many ankle/foot injuries its difficult to find something comfotable. well these are very comfy, i can wear these all day long and not have sore feet @ the end of the day. tnf makes great products!

this bag should be called "the cats a@@! i have used this bag in temps down to freezing and i only had my boxers on. my wife is somewhat of a cold sleeper and she wears only light weight thermals to bed. would recommend this bag to anyone.
