I usually wear an 8 in women's casual shoes. These were a full size too large. A 7 fits well with athletic socks. I haven't run in them yet, but the shoe is comfortable - wide and doesn't pinch. The arch isn't as supportive as I'd like, but since the insole is removable, I'll probably replace it with a SuperFeet insert anyway.

My first pair of Danskos were a size 38 (I'm a size 8). I couldn't wear socks with them, and the clogs were too tight over the top of my foot and the sides.
For my new pair I sized up to a 39 (even though the size chart doesn't agree). Now I can wear regular socks and wiggle my toes. There is still some pressure on the top of my foot though.
Also, my first pair I ordered was stained in blotches, and most of the shoe wax wasn't even buffed in. The second pair was perfect!
