I work in the Chicago Loop and the wind changes direction 5 times in two blocks. In the first month I've had the jacket I've been in rain storms, windy conditions up to 40mph or more, warm and cold weather too. Today we got hit with snow, and I was warm and dry. I've been comfortable in temperatures from 55-25F with this jacket. What's nice about the jacket is you can just wear the liner if it's chilly, but you can add the shell to protect you from wet weather or wind, plus it’s got pockets everywhere. This is definitely the best jacket I've had. I'm sure it does the job on the slopes or trails too, but in the urban concrete woods it has pulled its weight. The only negative I have about the jacket is that the hood pull strings are hard to manage, especially with gloves on, so a little patience is required.
