Flow NXT AT Snowboard Binding

Flow NXT AT Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I had previously posted a review(below) on this product shortly after buying it, and at the time was not entirely sure if they were right for me. I decided to make some adjustments with the four ratchet straps for a different fit, then forced myself to just ride and use them for a couple of days. I was so used to traditional strap-in bindings and strapping in by putting my heel in first before the toes, it felt quite awkward. Now that I have gotten used to them, they are fast for getting in and out of, responsive(after doing fine adjustments with the ratchets on the sides and "breaking them in" for a couple of days), and my preferred binding of choice now. They make take some getting used to for some, but fit right, they are comfortable, responsive, fast, and have suited me very well, when instructing, ski(board) patrolling, and recreationaly used.

I own more than one pair

Spy Blizzard Goggles

Spy Blizzard Goggles

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I own more than one pair of Spy-Blizzard goggles. They are very comfortable, durable, and for you helmet users, they work great with most helmets. On the contrast, The Spy-Scoop series work well for non-helmet users, but do not fit correctly with most helmets, leaving a bit of a gap and awkward.
I would highly recommend not only wearing a helmet when participating in snow sports, but the Spy-Blizzard's to go along with it. Even alone they are stylish and comfortable.
Background info: I have a very small face, but they do not look overly large or bulky and fit great.

I thought of getting another

Rating for this product: 5 March 26, 2007

I'm a petite female rider who had my heart set on getting this board when Atomic had first released the specs on it. Like many shredders on a budget, I was waiting until fall came around to buy it - but this site had too good of a deal for me to pass up and wait. I pretty well do every style of riding from park, carving and general all around riding. The "pop" (for ollies) is the best I've ever had. The overall ride is very solid and stable feeling. I'm so impressed with what an awesome board this is, I will likely purchase a back up of either this model or the one coming out for the 07/08 season. Best board I have ever ridden!

FLOW NXT AT Review

Flow NXT AT Snowboard Binding

Flow NXT AT Snowboard Binding

As an avid snowboarder and ski patrolman, I was looking for a quick in-and-out binding when patrolling and teaching on my board. I don't care for traditional step-in bindings but needed something quicker than straps. This hybrid style seemed to be a nice alternative. The Flows are NOT as responsive a traditional strap-in, but better than step-ins. The bindings themselves I think are great for the right person, but with my love-hate relationship with the Flows, I'm not entirely sure I would buy them all over again.
All in all, I'd say this binding really depends on your style of riding, purpose for getting it, etc. I would say for freestyle and someone looking for a binding quicker than a strap in with responsiveness, these are good way to go.
