I found myself on the shore of Lake Huron on a brisk September morning. Walking at a fast pace so I could reach my duck blind by Sun up. There was a Northwest wind at 10 knots, so it was cold. As the goose bumps came over my body I remembered I had my North Face Khumbu fleece jacket in my pit bag. I quickly threw it on and within a moments notice I had warmth washing away the chilly goose pumps. The Khumbu kept me warm on the way to the blind, and in the blind for three hours. That 10 knot northwest wind coming strait of the lake didn't stand a chance.
