Big Agnes Air Core Pillow

I used to just use a stuff sack filled with whatever extra clothes I had, but this is much more confortable. It packs up very compact and light. I fold up a fleece jacket on top of it to get a little more height and warmth.

These eggs only require adding boiling water to the pouch, but I found them to be very rubbery compared to other backpacking eggs I have tried.

Very nice tent

Big Agnes Seedhouse SL1 Super Light Tent: 1-Person 3-Season

Big Agnes Seedhouse SL1 Super Light Tent: 1-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2008

I thought it might be too small for me as I am 6'2" tall and a little claustrophobic, but I found it to be just fine on my first trip with it to the Uintas Wilderness in Utah.
I can sit up in it, turn around in it, and never felt clastrophobic. At 2 lbs, 13 oz. it was about 2 lbs lighter than my previous tent. Construction and features seemed very good. As we had perfect weather on this trip, I haven't tested it in the rain yet, so can't tell how waterproof it is.

Best pad I have

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2008

This pad is great. It is lighter and packs more compactly than any other pad I have ever owned. But it is also the most comfortable pad I have ever slept on. Almost like being in a bed at home. No more sore hips in the morning.
